My S340 is in a location that gets both heavy rain and direct sun. This hood has been protecting it through everything and the camera continues to perform well. The slim design is right—protection without looking improvised. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I mounted my S340 in a spot exposed to heavy morning rain and lens clarity was becoming a problem. This hood fixed it completely. Water no longer hits the lens directly, recordings are consistently clear, and the hood has held up through months of outdoor exposure.

Clean install, immediate improvement. The S340 lens stays protected from rain and sun and the recording quality has been consistently better since I added the hood. The microphone and LED remain accessible which was a concern before buying. Great product.

Does exactly what it promises. The hood keeps rain and debris off the lens and the camera recordings are noticeably cleaner since installation. The fit is good and the install is simple. A sensible accessory for any S340 owner with outdoor exposure.

The S340 is a solar-powered camera and I wanted to protect my investment from UV degradation as well as rain. This hood handles both. The slim profile doesn’t block any light from reaching the solar panel and the camera performs better in direct sun now.

Good weather protection for the S340. The hood fits well and effectively blocks rain from the lens. The microphone and speaker ports remain accessible which is important. Easy install and a clean result. My camera performs better in wet weather now.
